Should I File for Bankruptcy?

In today's harsh economy, a lot of people are asking this question.  Of course, there is no universal answer to the question.  I'm not one who tries to convince a client he or she should file for bankruptcy.  I believe in listening to each client's situation and then discussing options with them.  Ultimately, the decision is yours to make.  For some, bankruptcy may be the best choice.  For others, there are other options that make more sense.  I advise you to do some research and consider your options before you decide to file for bankruptcy.  If you live in the Birmingham area and need to talk to someone about your financial situation, feel free to give me a call.

Bernie Kosar Files for Bankruptcy

Former NFL Standout Quarterback Bernie Kosar has filed for Bankruptcy.  Read about it here: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9704912/Ex-NFL-QB-Kosar-files-for-bankruptcy
Bernie is probably most famous for his stint as QB for the Cleveland Browns.  He left football in 1996 and has since had a string of bad luck that crippled him financially.  Bad real estate deals, a failed restaurant, and a costly divorce left him little choice but to file bankruptcy.

Common people often find themselves in difficult financial positions also.  Sometimes bankruptcy is the best option.  If you are sinking in a sea of debt, contact me so that we can discuss your bankruptcy options.
